Free Creative Writing-Exploring Social Justice Today Media Workshop Saturdays in September 2010. Students who are enrolled in our tutoring program have the option to sign up for our Just Choices Exploring Social Justice Media Workshop Classes hosted on Saturdays from 12pm-3pm beginning in September 2010. Learn how to improve your critical thinking skills, academic creativity, and explore social issues locally/nationally. ~All materials for this workshop are provided for those who enroll. This class is free for all students who have signed up for a tutoring program with Abena's Tutoring. ~Students who would like to take the class there is a fee of $25.00 for four classes. Join Abena's Tutoring Services' Cultural Literacy for The World Campaign. Donate your old
children's books, classics, and works of interest to our campaign. Wrap
the book, then pen a message to your new owner. Drop the book off at your local post-office. Every book received, will be given to a student enrolled in our
tutoring service. If
you decided to join this effort, your donations will help students in
your area and beyond the waters of the United States. We
will upload your name to our Cultural Literary Wall of Fame once we
receive your book donation. Literacy Donors will also qualify for two free sessions
of tutoring online just for donating one book. An email voucher will be sent to you via email for your literacy contribution. Please include your name and email information with your submission.
